Shoot location information
Clients are welcome to choose a location for their shoots. This can be in their home, workplace, public place, or private hire venue (at the expense of the Client). Canine Content Co. is not responsible for the behaviour of the animal during the shoot and the owner or handler of the animal must be in control at all times.
Locations outside of a 10 mile radius of CM8 3SH are subject to a travel charge. See the map below for the areas that this covers. Travel charges are £0.45p per mile outside of the 10 mile radius.
Suggested locations include:
- Great Notley Country Park, Braintree, Great Notley, Essex, England, CM77 7FS
- The Flitch Way (multiple entry points, The Booking Hall Cafe in Rayne is a recommended location/meeting point)
- Cudmore Grove Country Park (please note that this location is outside of the 10 mile radius and subject to a travel charge)
- Chalkney Woods, Earls Colne
Terms and conditions
1. Photo shoot bookings and deliverables
1.1. Photoshoot bookings are subject to availability and must be accepted by Canine Content Co. to confirm your booking. Further communication from Canine Content Co. will follow at the time of the booking being accepted.
1.2. Payment is required at the time of booking either in full or in the form of a deposit that will be deducted from the total price. The amount payable at the time of booking and the amount outstanding is included on the item the Client chooses to book.
1.3. If the Client has chosen a location outside of the 10 mile radius outline, a travel charge is applicable at £0.45p per mile thereafter.
1.4. Canine Content Co. reserves the right to change the pricing and/or availability of photoshoots at any time. If the Client has booked a shoot, they receive the price advertised at the time of booking.
1.5. By booking Canine Content Co., you (the Client) are accepting the standard of work advertised on the gallery webpage. Should the Client be expecting different deliverables or photographic style, this must be discussed prior to booking.
1.6. Canine Content Co. will only deliver the number of images or advertised deliverables for the package the Client has booked. Any extra images can be purchased for an additional fee.
1.7. An estimated delivery date of images is four weeks from the Clients’ shoot date. Unedited previews of images can be arranged upon request should the Client wish to choose their preferred images.
1.8. Canine Content Co. is not responsible for the behaviour of the animal during the shoot and the owner of the animal must be in control at all times.
1.9. The welfare of any animals being photographed is paramount. There will be adequate time for breaks between poses for their comfort.
1.10. If Canine Content Co. deems the welfare of the animal to be concerning or neglectful, this will be reported to the relevant authorities.
2. Cancellations and rescheduling of shoots
2.1. The Client must ensure that cancellation or rescheduling notice is given 48 hours before the shoot where possible.
2.2. If the Client needs to reschedule their booking after receiving confirmation from Canine Content Co., they must inform us via email (caninecontentco@gmail.com) at their earliest convenience and provide their available dates/times.
2.3. Rescheduling a booking is free of charge.
2.4. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability. Canine Content Co. will work with the Client to find a new suitable date and time for both parties.
2.5. Rescheduling requests within 24 hours of the shoot time will not be accepted and the Client will forfeit their deposit or paid amount.
2.6. In extenuating circumstances, Canine Content Co. will use discretion on refunding the Client any paid monies where cancellation is the only option.
3. Use of images and Copyright
3.1. The Client must only use the images in the domain they have paid for (personal or commercial).
3.2. Canine Content Co. reserves the right to incur a usage charge for images used for advertising or profit if the Client did not make a commercial booking. Usage charge is to be determined on a case by case basis.
3.3. Ownership and copyright of images remains with Canine Content Co. unless otherwise agreed.
3.4. Canine Content Co. will use images on social media from booked shoots for advertising purposes. The Client has the opportunity to object in the follow up information required at the time of booking.
3.5. Images must not be edited or manipulated in any way.
